A concise history of recent improvements

Released August 8, 2026.

  • Added a rich note editor with a formatting toolbar for headings, emphasis, lists, checklists, quotes, code, and links.
  • Added note preview, so Markdown can be read as a formatted field note inside the app.
  • Added drawing attachments, including a finger or stylus canvas, undo, clear, and a full-screen workspace.
  • Expanded attachments so a field entry can combine audio, photos, and sketches.

Earlier foundation

Earlier versions established the capabilities the current releases build upon: configurable audio capture, calendar organization, tag search, GPS start/end points and tracks, map context, background recording, safer long Android recordings, export formats, cloud-provider connections, and multi-language support.
