Summary
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not run ads in the app.
- We do not collect or store your diary content on our own servers.
- Optional cloud sync sends data directly to the provider you choose.
Data processed on your device
Voice Voyager may process the following data so the app can work:
- audio recordings you create
- notes, diary entries, and tags you write
- GPS points or tracks linked to recordings if location is enabled
- app settings such as quality, language, and storage preferences
This data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to sync or export it.
Permissions
Depending on the features you use, Voice Voyager may request access to:
- the microphone, to record audio
- location, to attach coordinates or movement tracks
- local files or media folders, to save and browse recordings
- network access, for optional sync and map display
You can disable GPS tracking in Settings at any time.
Cloud sync and maps
If you enable sync, Voice Voyager transfers files directly to the cloud account you connect, such as Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive. We do not operate a backend that stores your diary data.
When you use map features, map tiles and related requests are provided by Google Maps services on your device and are subject to Google's own policies.
Data sharing and deletion
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Data is shared only when you choose to sync, export, or otherwise share content yourself.
You can delete recordings, notes, and related location data inside the app. Synced copies remain in your own cloud account until you remove them there.
